Sam Heffer

Sam started playing volleyball in middle school and is a graduate of Plainedge HS on Long Island, NY. She went on to play four years of volleyball at Western New England University in Springfield, MA as a right side hitter, graduating in 2018 with a degree in marketing communications and business analytics. In her last year, she was named the Senior Scholar Athlete of the Commonwealth Coast Conference for performance on and off the court. She continues to play in local tournaments and leagues, both indoor and outdoor. Sam first began coaching while still in high school to help teach the game of volleyball to her sister’s church league team and has previously coached club for Prevail. This is her first year coaching for Fusion VBC.
