Laurie is originally from Wisconsin, but now lives in Chambersburg with her husband and 3 children. Her daughter, Sadie, started playing for Fusion in 2023.
Laurie started playing club volleyball in sixth grade. She is a two-time high school State Champion. She continued to play in college for Indiana University, earning All Big Ten Honors as a freshman. Her Senior year she transferred to University of Arizona and earned Honorable Mention All Pac 12.
As a Coach, Laurie hopes to instill the team concept while developing skills and growing their love for the game at the same time.
